I am having very high memory usage while watching live tv. It GBPVR sucks up about a meg every 2 seconds, so pretty much you cannot watch a single 30 minute show without restarting in the middle. I am using a Skystar 2 with BDA drivers, so I am not sure if this is what it is related to. Just wondering if this is common or if this abnormal.

I've not noticed it myself, or seen any other reports of it.

Can you try running "perfmon", then add Process -> Private Bytes and Virtual Bytes for GBPVR.exe, and graph it for a few minutes then post a screenshot of the graph?

I think you might need to set the scale then post it again. I think its off the top of the that current scale you're using. Probably worth removing those three default graphs that appear aswell (pages/sec etc).

I dont really know. You could try disabling the multidec support to see if the multidec layer is causing the problem.

Similar to the remote issue, I disabled mce from starting whatsoever in msconfig and this issue seems to have gone away. Not sure why. Anyways, it is using about 130 megs of ram now and sitting there for about 10 minutes so we will see how it goes. Also wanted to mention that next to VDR this thing changes channels faster than anything else I have tried, including my viewsat stb, which is 'xtremely' fast.

I have the same problem, but it happens when GBPVR is recording. Memory goes down 1 meg/2sec until the system only has about 20 meg left. I don't have MCE. Multidec is disabled. I don't have to stop and restart the recordings, but if I run another program while it's recording I sometimes get corrupt video.

Yea, BTW with MCE disabled I still have this problem. Not sure why it disappeared for a couple days.
