Sub,

99.05 has been working great up until I added a card to my server PC. Once I did this, the PC reinstalled the drivers for my two TV cards (ATI AIW and HDTV Wonder). I had to do a full reinstall of GBPVR on the server. Since doing this, I cannot get to the TV Guide, Search, or Recordings, and Live TV doesn't work.

For the TV Guide, the client PC keeps asking me to setup channels and EPG. For Recordings and Search, it says that it can't open the database. I checked my firewall, etc., and I shared my devnz folder. I can't figure out what else to try. It is like this with or without a new install on the client.

Here are my logs.

Thanks,

Bigbus

It looks like it cant open the database.

Is this at all related to the client? ie, does it do it on the server also?

If its only a client problem, you may find you need to remove and recreate the gbpvr share on the server. The permissions after a reinstall may not be allowing the files to be accessed.

Sub,

I had tried that but did it again. It still does the same thing. Is there a file that I should change/check the permissions on individually (maybe it isn't getting updated when I re-share)?

I can get it to work with my other server so I don't think it is the client that is the problem.

Thanks,

Bigbus

Forgot to mention, the server acts fine.

Its is just something to do with your share permissions, so play around with them and I'm sure you'll get it sorted.
