.net 2.0 errors with 0.99.05

Hey all, I'm a relatively new user of GB-PVR (about 9 months) and a VERY recent user of 0.99.05 (about 2 hours).

I am in the middle of a couple of different major changes to my computer, the first of which is an OS reload. I'm working with a Shuttle M1000 system, so my hardware expansion capabilities are a little lacking, as are many BIOS tweaks I'm used to playing with for thermal/performance benefits.

For the sake of my sleep, which can be bothered by impromptu fan spin-ups caused by my CPU overheating, I have created a truncated version of Windows using nLite (a cool little utility for customized Windows install CDs).

I am almost positive that in my zeal to remove all unwanted and useless Windows features, I have removed something that GB-PVR requires to run. The following error message greets me whenever I open any part of GB-PVR:

If anyone has thoughts on what I removed that I shouldn't have, please let me know. I'm very close to a very quiet, very efficient redemption of my ego from having bought this overpriced overpowered media center, and I am stymied by what seems like a minor detail!

I also received the same error. I just did a fresh install of Win2k. After installing the critical updates I installed the .Net framework followed by the MDAC.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

On Win2k, you'll also need to upgrade your version of Windows Media Player.

I upgraded media player, but I still receive the same error.

I dont know then. Thats the only reason I'm aware of.

I dont personally test GB-PVR on Windows 2000 though, so not really familiar with what issues you might encounter.

It is working this morning, it seems that I was not running the latest version of DirectX. After updating to the latest, Config runs fine.
