I just upgraded to 0.99.5 and am having an issue. I've found several threads on cpu spiking which may or maynot be what is happening here but the exact problem didn't seem to match. Essentially when I go into Task Manager I watch GBPVR.EXE pop on at somewhere between 80% to 97% and then pop off. I can count three from time it goes off to when it comes back on, it stays on for a one count. I'm not sure if this is the spiking others have referred to in other posts. This is happening when GBPVR isn't activly being used.

I went through the survival guide and
I'm not running NOD32, Panda Antivirus, WebRunner and Net Limiter
I don't use OnAir GT
I don't have satelite

I've shutoff all plugins.
This happens with zonealarm on and off

winxp home sp2
attached is a screen shot of what it is doing in the task manager as well as the logs

You seem to have the MyPrograms plugin causing you problems.

Wasn't even on the list in the config so I went, found the DLL in the directory and deleted it. It seems to have cured the spiking, thanks Sub
