Hi all,

I'm having some strange issues with switching from live tv mode to timeshifting mode. First of all, if I disable the live tv mode, GB starts in time shift mode with no issue (this is with both DVRMs muxing and MPEG muxing). But if I allow live tv mode, and then click the pause thing to go to time shifting, I run into the message "object reference not set an referenced object" or something of that nature. What's going on?

I'm using a Kworld atsc 110 card/ ATI 1600 Pro/ cyberlink Video/SP decoder (PDVD7)/ ffdshow audio decoder.

Other than the problem stated, I have no issues whatsoever.

Thanks for the help

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Hi Sub,

I zipped up the logs as well as a screen shot of the problem. BTW, I tried various deinterlacing settings from none to encoder pass through. All have the same issue.

Thanks for the help!!

Does it make any difference if you press Ctrl-Q to pause, rather than using the mouse?

Hi Sub,

I tried your suggestion of using ctrl-Q to initiate the timeshift mode. That works perfectly. It's just when I use the mouse that that error message occurs.

Thanks,

A few users have reported this at various times over the last year or so. I'm not sure why it only affects some people, and I've never been able to reproduce it here. I've goes at putting in something which I'd hoped would fix it, but obviously not.

I actually just freshly reinstalled GBPVR, because I screwed up my config so badly. heheh (n00b).

Timeshift work on my previous install, but not this one.
I've attached logs (very clean) and screenshot. This happens when I hit Ctrl-Q OR Press it with the mouse.

Hope it helps!

Did you change versions at the same time? I notice you're using one the GO7007SB devices, which arent supported any more. I havent tested GB-PVR with one of these devices in well over a year.

Does it help if you disable live preview? I dont remember live preview mode ever working with these devices.

Nope, same release.

Live Preview has been enabled. If I disable it, I get the "No Tuners available" error.
