I can hear the sound....

So, when I start a video I have on my comp (I've tried with AVI and MPG files), it stays at the menu in my video folder, but I can hear the sound start up.

I'm confused. Can anyone help?

Do you have video decoders installed? Can you play the same files in Windows Media Player?

Yeah, sorry. My bad. I thought I had the codecs installed. I do now and it works fine.

On a side note, are there any specific codec packages you recommend?
