Hi Sub!

It is very hard for me to tell you my problem, cause my poor english, but i'll try it.

If i'm using Comskip to search for commercials i'm getting a commercial cut list for GB-PVR like this.

FILE PROCESSING COMPLETE 82088 FRAMES AT 2500
-------------------
1 8551
82087 82088

ok this works too if i'm cutting out this:

FILE PROCESSING COMPLETE 82088 FRAMES AT 2500
-------------------
than I'm having just the frame numbers like this and GB-PVR over jumps correctly the commercials-

1 8551
82087 82088

but if I'm making handly a txt file whith the same frame numbers at the same position, gb-pvr won't parsing the cut list.

Why could this be ??

The reason why i need a hand made cut list is, that Videoredo is able to make a txt file, with the cut framenumbers exactly the same like comskip but gb-pvr don't want to parsing it.
If gb-pvr could open the txt file of Videoredo.I could make handly a cut list with videoredo in less than 30 sec.
With a 100% result.

Short= Why do GB-PVR not understand a cut list made by videoredo but by comskip

I hope you have understood everything.

If not please learn German or Turkish Smile

Thank you

Are you sure your text file has the correct name?
Sometimes if extensions are hidden, people end up with a file with
filename.txt.txt.

Could it be you're using a single space character between the two frame numbers on each line. Looking at some of my comskip files, it appears that character should be a single tab.

Are you using a text editor to create your file?

ARe you using Notepad?

If so, it's not likely since Notepad is a WYSIWYG text editor.

You'll want to verify the tab versus space issue and the .txt.txt file name issue as previously suggested.

Just open the file in notepad that you created and using your cursor keys, see if there is one character between the two columns. If there are multiple characters then it has spaces not a tab.

On a side note I wouldn't have expected this to matter since multiple spaces and tabs are usually treated as whitespace but it depends on the parser. At any rate it's definitely worth a shot.
