Sub (or others),

Wondering if you can take a look at my logs to see if there is anything obvious that might be causing my sound troubles. I get no sound when watch livetv or recordings through GBPVR. I also get no sound when I use wmp to replay recordings which would suggest I have an issue with my system codecs...which I have not found a problem with yet. I do sometimes get sound when I play recordings through VLC...but only sometimes (this seems channel specific). I have also included my filtercheck log.

Thanks

While watching live tv, try holding down the right arrow to see if the audio returns. If not, then try a different audio decoder.

They're pretty much the only things it could be.

Try installing AC3Filter if you need to.

Looks like my recordings are playing fine with sound, but LiveTV still does not have sound. Any ideas.

I ended up selecting AC3filter as my audio decoder and now sounds seem to work for LiveTV also. Interesting that is was working for recordings for me but not LiveTV prior to selection it the AC3filter as my decoder.

Some decoders can be a bit finicky.
