Vista and GBPVR 09912

I have just installed Vista and am trying to get GBPVR to work. The Capture card is a Nova T Usb2 and the following sympton seems to happen. You get sound but no video. The version of Vista is actually the business edition and the installation did seem to pick up drivers for the the USB based card. The GBPVR install worked ok and did scan for channels. I have tried some test captures but the results were the same sound but no video. Any help or clue would be extremely helpful,

I'm guessing you havnt installed a video decoder. GB-PVR doesnt install one.

The graphics card in the machine for XP ships with an MPEG decoder (AT 1950XT) but guess what on Vista the decoder is not installed. Since the actual decoder is quite efficient I did manage to get this installed seperately on Vista and guess what I now have sound and pictures. Now if only I can get my Pinnacle 200 Media Extender to work with this 'marvellous' new OS
