After resuming from hibernate live television stutters continuously. I have to shut down GBPVR and restart it in order for video to behave normally.

When I was running Media Portal it didn't have these type of problems, the resume would return to normal live television w/o stuttering.

Any ideas on what could help the problem?

I also know there's a wake.cmd batch file that could be used to say shutdown and restart gbpvr. Can this be done? If so the command to start gbpvr seems straightforward but what would I use to shut gbpvr down?

If you download GBPVRWake.exe, you can let it run at Windows startup and will run your wake.cmd (inside GBPVR directory) immediately after any resume from standby.

There are a few examples of wake.cmd floating around on this forum.

or you could be the first person (besides myself) to testdrive a program that i wrote in autoit script.

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25751

This script performs 2 functions

1. Every minute it checks if the gbpvr recordings service, ir.exe and gbpvr.exe are running (as the fourground app and if they are not, it starts them.
2. When coming out of standby, it shuts down and restarts, gbpvr, the recording service and ir.exe

seems to work fine for me but then, so did gbpvrwake.exe and wake.cmd which does (2) but not (1)
