So this morning I woke up and tried to launch gbpvr, and it gives me "The program has encountered an error and needs to close"
I tried rebooting, didn't fix it...
Tried installing the newest version, didn't fix it...
And it does the same thing with the config app...

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

The system is running windows MCE.

Move all files from the \gbpvr\plugins folder and retry the config.exe program.

Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Have you been editing config.xml?

I tried moving all the plugins... Nothing...
The logs are all empty because it doesn't load anything (it doesn't even bring up the loading splash screen)...

I haven't done anything with the config in about a month, so who knows...
I'm going to try a complete uninstall/reinstall and see if that does it...

So I just uninstalled and reinstalled, it still won't launch anything...

As soon as I try to open config or gbpvr it just gives me a windows error message (doesn't load AT ALL)...

I'm not around this computer (i'm in college, but manage this computer when I'm here). It was apparently working this week, but not this morning... There's no way they were messing with the config or anything, they have no idea how...

Any suggestions?

Sub, if you want the blank logs I can zip them, but they're all empty...

GB-PVR has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Error Signature:
EventType : clr20r3 P1 : gbpvr.exe P2 : 1.0.2614.27229 P3 : 5

I'll try reinstalling .net....

It sounds like your config.xml is screwed. Try deleting it then taking a copy of config-master.dont-edit-me.xml and naming it config.xml

That makes it all load again! Genius Sub!!!

Why didn't reinstalling fix it though (not that it matters since it works, i'm just curious)....

I imagine an installation does not overwrite an existing config.xml file, only appends possible new data. Wouldn't want to destroy configurations every time an update is installed.
