A quick question about the 1600 card...can it capture (using GB-PVR, of course) OTA ATSC via the antenna and analog NTSC via the s-video port, at the same time? That would be way cool and solve my slot limit problem...

Yes, I think so. I know you can at least record an analog channel from the tuner at the same time as recording a digital channel from the digital tuner. I think both mvallevand and zaphod7501 have indicated they've done this. Svideo should be the same as analog from the analog tuner.

yes, I am currently using HVR1600 that way together with IR blaster to control the DCT700 Motorola box.
Dell Dual Core 6400 XP Pro, PVR500, HVR-1600, MVPs on Belkin wireless bridge

I have seen circuitcity advertise it (more than once in the past few months) for $60 (its currently $80). That's the lowest I've seen from any retailer and am not sure if they would be doing it again anytime soon, but just thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, I got it at the $60 price after rebates. Unfortunately that deal expired 6/9.
