Hi there

I have read elsewhere that I should be able to stream live TV using EWA. However, even though I can stream recorded shows with no problem, when I go to current shows on the EPG, the live stream button is not there. Do I need to change a setting to turn it on or something? I'm using build 62.

When I click on a show in the tv-guide window I get a screen with 3 buttons at the bottom:
- Record this episode
- close take no action
- stream now

Edit: maybe you need to configure the stream player first in ewa-config, I really don't know.

For the Stream Now button to appear the programme start time must be <= to the current time and the end time must be greater than the current time + 1 minute......if you click on the show prior to the start or less then one minute before the current time you will not see the stream now option.

If you see the stream button when in the manage recordings tab then you have VLC configured in the config tab and you should see the option to stream live tv as stated above.

Ah, perhaps that is my problem. I don't have a stream button in the recordings tab. When I click on "Play Program" I open the m3u file with VLC, and that results in a stream of the recording. What do I need to do to get the stream button to appear?

Ok...that tells me you do not have VLC configured in the Config tab....should look like the below.....

That's exactly how I have it set up. And VLC is at that location, I just double checked that. It must be something else...

Yeah, this is the client machine, and the slashes are there. I don't think they're dumb questions, thanks for trying to help out!
