Thanks to all for putting this great package together.
I have a Hauppage HVR 1600, and have used various combinations of search keywords on this forum to find a solution before posting. Since nothing I found worked, here i am. :|
I have the coax-out from my settop box going to the analog coax input on my HVR-1600. I am not using ATSC at all. I have installed the Hauppage 34c driver set and analog TV displays fine, using the settop box remote to change channels.
In GBPVR config, my card was detected as either an "MCE1500 Analog" or "HVR 1600 Analog" so I chose HVR 1600, capture device #1, Fixed Channel, external tuner, tuning:cable, constant channel 4, no quality profile chosen.
In the channels table I have "Channel 4" set for Source Channel 4.
The actual display only shows static. I have tried various combinations of antenna/cable and channels, but still I get static with a heavily ghosted picture, it's like I am using an antenna TV and not getting any reception.
What did I miss?
Thanks.
