I have a 1.6 ghz core due laptop with intel 950 integrated graphics (Toshiba m115). I have been using gbpvr on this machine without problems, though it did require me to use overlay, and the only video decoder (fairly long list of ones that I have tried) that worked well was the Intervideo Video Decoder 4.0.11.30. I had tried many different decoders to try and get it to work with vmr9, vrm9 custom, vmr9 fullscreen exclusive, but to no avail always had choppy video, so I assumed my intergrated video was the problem (high cpu usage as well). With the release of pvrx2, i have been trying to get it to work again with "freely" available decoders. I have had best performance running from command prompt pvrx2.exe -fse and using Cyberlink Video/SP decoder version 6.0.0.3431. Unfortunatly, the output is close but has small jaggies along edges during movement and appears to be at a noticable (slow) framerate. It seems as if I am close. Any one with any ideas? I was wondering if I should attempt the nvida purevideo decoders?...I am not thrilled with the idea since I don't want to shell out for them once their trial period is over. Any one have luck with a similar laptop setup?
