DrawCompositeImage, does it work anymore?

is thre any way to use DrawCompositeImage in the new skining scheme?

I want to do something like this

it would make modifying menu items much easier.

No, sorry. It wasnt practical to implement this using the new scheme.

The <DrawCommonImage> tag is the equivalent replacement. The obvious difference is not being able to specify the location and size though, and the lack of parameters that can be sent from the skin xml file.

that is fine, as all I really want to do is not have the same thing three times

thanks, I thought I had tried that... but in my haste I forgot to use the CommonImages tag, and was defining the CommonImage inside the CompositeImages tag... DOH

I am just going to tack some more of my stupid skinning questions onto this thread

how do you change the color of the border of the usage graph in the system screen?

and about that border, it seems to be getting cut off, the bounding edges are flat to the middle of the border (I can post a screenshot if you want).

Sorry, you cant at this stage. Its always black, and a set width.

to me it looks like it is getting generated with the center of the border, on the outer edge of the circle, which causes the border to get trimmed on the edges that are the short side of the rectangle.

just gonna keep tacking onto my stupid questions thread

with the new skin, if you want to use more than two hours of guide data, do you have to modify the skin?


also, with the new skinning system, there are two separate places where the size of composite images for lists are set, in the placement for the list, and in the tag for the composite image. is there any way that one of these could be eliminated? (preferably the one in the common image tag) then it would require much less editing when you want to change the size of an element in a skin. yeah its a wishlist type thing... but I can hope.
