Hi,

I have for the first time bought a card and tried your fantastic software..

Installed without any problems, scanned for DVB-S channels, found loads and worked great. Scanned for DVB-T channels, also found loads and worked great.

Went to record but kept returning to main menu so tried a manual record which looked like it was working a.o.k. (DVB-S)

Tried to view another channel using DVB-T but it kept saying that no tuner was available. In you guide it says the HVR 3000 has twin tuners is this not the case?

Thanks for the help if possible.

i think you have to do something like add it as a second device with the same name
ie device 1 ,device 2

in the bda device selection their is a box that says "device number"
its the next line down under device type where you selected hvr3000dvb-t
although i may be wrong its different depending on the card

Did you try to view the channel in the tv guide using the 'watch' button, or via the 'live tv' button in the main menu?

I tried both the watch button and the live tv button but no joy.

stustunz:
I do have a partial tv guide, justa few of the DVB-T channels... as to link freq's and channels, no I didn't, not too sure whats going on there really...

I have tried setting up the DVB-T side as device 1, that went o.k.
tried setting DVB-S as device 2 but it says the tuner is already in use.

I am going through the whole thing again to see if I understand it a little more this time around.

I will let you know how it goes. If you think of anything else that might help please let me know.

Oh, quickly, this HVR-3000 does have two real tuners doesn't it?

Thanks again
