I just emptied my database of the zap2it data and got an error message when trying to pull the new data in from schedules direct.
I did the update from the survival guide for the last minute change to schedules direct.

This is because you havnt supplied the patched version GBPVRBackendCommon.dll from the '1.0.16 survival guide' thread.

I did load the GBPVRBackendCommon.dll to the GBPVR directory before I tried it. When I get home tonight (4 hours) I'll check it out further and report back.

I can tell you have the old version of that file because the URL in the error message is wrong.

1.0.2788.30458

I'll check tonight and see what happened.

You have the correct URL unlike Pastro above.

Zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

I think SD and/or the GBPVR interface to SD may not be ready for prime time yet. I got a subscription and configured my lineups. I made sure to install the patch from the Survival Guide and configured the SD settings for the lineups as detailed in the Guide.

I ran the Update EPG and I could see data (the packet count in the WLAN connectoid was incrementing) but nothing was put in the DB. I had made a copy of the GBPVR.DB3 so I removed the file and started from scratch reentering my capture sources, SD information, etc. I then Updated the EPG. There were NO channels present in the capture source listings for either my cable or satellite lineups. and after closing the configurator the GBPVR.DB3 file was 227 bytes, the same size as the EMPTY.DB3.

Sometin' isn't working right :-)

I reverted to the old GBPVR.DB3 with the Zap2IT fetch for now.

Its been working pretty well for people that have tried it so far. Its actually just using the same old zap2it grabber with a slightly different URL on the zap2it servers, so it should be working as well as zap2it ever did. The only problems the testers had initially was creating their account on the new schedulesdirect website, but that seems to be resolved now.

It'd be best if you reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs so I can have a chance to diagnose the cause of you problem.

Remember, in a couple of days I'll be away for the best part of a month, so now is a good time to do this or you're likely to go without this being fixed until I get back.
