I've found some issues that I don't see addressed on the forums so I thought I'd share them:

1) Using PVRX2.EXE I cannot hide the "exit" button by unchecking it in the config application or config.xml. To make a long story short, I'm basically making an "dummy proof" system for my parents and don't want them to exit to Windows accidentally. I am able to hide the exit button in GBPVR.EXE

2) When enabling/changing the subtitles in DVD playback, the subtitles will go on and off but there is no OSD to indicate that you have changed/activated the subtitles. In GBPVR.EXE, it will indicate SPANISH, ENGLISH, etc..

The following has been addressed by others but I thought I'd mention them anyhow:

1) For some reason or another, the internal GBPVR screensaver never activates. In GBPVR.EXE it works fine.

2) When watching LiveTV, would it be possible to give a choice to use the old style guide back in? My wife misses it Smile

Hmmm, I have the exact opposite problem. With the screensaver enabled, I only get it working with PVRX2. Doesn't work with the old GBPVR (but sub has discontinued testing the GBPVR.exe).

sub has mentioned that he will implement the old style LiveTV Guide. The one these is more or less a placeholder for now. My wife doesn't like the placeholder either Wink

I hope the new one stays as an option as I like it somewhat better than the original

I think the new interface pretty much ignores the config utility for now while it undergoes testing. I'm sure that once the teething problems are solved, it'll be linked back in and become the official interface.

Looking forward to getting FM Radio back! Smile

I think the system button not disappearing might be due to the fact that the new scrolling pvrx2 interface "needs" at least 5 items (plugins) to function.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.
