no sound jumpy image

Hey guys i just got a pvr150 and downloaded gbpvr ... some channels work great, other are either jumpy or have no sound.

CPU: Atheron 170
RAM: 2Gb
Video: 8800gts
Audio: creative audigy

i unplugged the cable from the surge protector and now i have more sound but still dont have sound for all the channels

Sound problems used to be pretty common for PVR150 owners. If you're using the original drivers that cam on the disk with the device, then you might need to upgrade to more recent ones from the Hauppauge website (or from http://www.shspvr.com/smf).

thanks sub. now i have sound however the sound is about half of a second behind the video. however it is ok when i use wintv

you need to change your audio decoder
and maybe try a different video decoder aswell
normally best i find to use matching ones
ie if you use a cyberlink mpeg deocder use the cyberlink audio decoder

Thanks guys that worked great. I am now working on figuring out what is going on with zap2it. Almost all of my channels are wrong .... i dont know why

I was just doing some channel surfing and found that one channel has almost no sound and is kind of staticy. I assume it is a tuning problem. is there any way to fix this?

Well i just opened wintv and the channel is the same way there... i tried adjusting the tuning and it didnt get any better

must be a weak signal is your arial pointing in the correct direction for that station
