Subtitle Delay

Im in the USA
Every thing was great until I updated to your new software.

We were using Version 0.99.12.

We removed all software, started with a blank database and config file.

We loaded Version 1.0.16. (The latest and greatest.)

We have everything working again…. EXCEPT that the subtitle delay on the MVP, formerly controlled by <SubtitleDelayMVP> doesn’t seem to work correctly. Does anybody have any input or suggestions?

Someone else was complaining about the same thing. Haven't heard of a resolution yet.

someone suggested a negative value (like -5000) but I never got it working properly.

I too also used negative number and from what I can tell it never did anything. On the old version I used a negative number and it worked GREAT! But with this new version it seems that no matter what number I use there is no effect.

Agerdin: If you're right about gbpvr using it's internal srt viewer , as I think you are than (@ Ivan) do you have the srt viewer enabled (misc tab in the gbpvr config) ?

The delay settings are currently ignored, which is fine for the PC but not adequate for using on an MVP. Try the attached patch.

sub I wasn't aware that ffmpeg could do SRTs. How are you getting the MVP to read SRT files?

It doesnt use ffmpeg. These are OSD graphics.
