V1.06 Newbie - network problems

Hi

Hooked up 1.06 - works at first glance but..

1. If I use a local directory for music/pictures etc ie d:\mypics - works a treat. If I use a network directory - or even map a drive from the network - so for example z:\mypics - it won't work - you can see the alias name but it won't drill down into the directory. This ONLY happens on the hauppauge unit remotely - using PVRX2 etc on the PC works a treat.

2. Again using the Hauppauge unit, fast forwarding and jumping just screw things up.

3. Any idea when the NET radio will be back? I loved that when first using this software many versions ago.

1- I think you have to run the gbpvrrecordingservice under a user account to do that. It normally runs under system account but than you're not allowed access to network drives.
2- I guess this is with the mvp. you might take a look at the mvpmc-dongle. http://forums.gbpvr.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30
If you run vista this is the preferred dongle.
3- I think I saw somewhere that it might be in the next version.

It'll be back in the next release. (in fact there was a patch posted recently which enabled it in PVRX2)
