Finally took the time to format the HD and do a clean install, been using GBPVR for a couple years and love it! I have a PVR-150, PVR-350, X-Card, and an older MX440 with TV-Out all in a P4 3.0 machine with a Gig of RAM. For the life of me I cannot get anything to display using the X-Card or the PVR-350 TV out and if I use the MX-440, I can see the TV Guide (pretty fuzzy), but as soon as I try to watch live tv I get nothing, blank screen. I know the thing is recording because I get the livetv.mpg file that I can play back with the Hauppage software. Did I miss something?

Its been a very long time since GB-PVR offically supported either the XCard or PVR350 tv out (about two years ago). In this time some people have been successful in using the old functionality.

Recently I rewrote the app, giving the new PVRX2 user interface. This contains no functionality for using an XCard or PVR350, so not surprising this isnt working for you.

This new interface is based on Direct3D. Most of the owners of the old Geforce MX graphics cards have had to update their videocard drivers otherwise they got no video like you describe.

As for the fuzziness - sorry I've never used this specific video card so I cant vouch for the quality of it's TV out feature.

thanks for the quick response! I guess since it is still an option in the config tool I assumed it would still work. I'll grab a new video card and give it a whirl... The fuzziness is what I always see with a computer connected to a tv, it's like the resolution is not quite right.

As far as the drivers go, I downloaded new off the Nvidia website last night since I started from scratch...

It's hard to envision your exact setup and how you are using it, but if TV-out is a problem, the card probably uses overlay, which PVRx2 doesn't support. I don't know if you've switched config to overlay and tried with the old x1 interface or not. Lack of overlay support was the big problem I ran into with my ATI 2400. X2 and VMR9 work well with it in clone mode, though.

Or, yeah, maybe that MX is simply too old to work with X2 at all.
