Hello, I have GbPvr version 1.0.16 running on windows xp SP2 with full Administrative rights (Hauppauge PVR150 capature card). I am using "Schedule Direct" as my EPG and I can watch alll my TV channels on my computer but i'm having 1 big issue when I try to record shows to watch at a later time.

If i set my recording for a show and my computer is rununing the shows will record, but If I want to record a show during a time which i will not be home or if my computer is shut off, all my recordiing fail!. I tried reseaching the forum but did not find anything in particular relating to my problem? It does not give me any error messages either. The recording just fails.

I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions if you can help?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs.

I don't shut my computer off. There is a function in GBPVR called standby and hibernate. I believe you have to set it to do one of those two things in order for it to "wake up" and record the shows in question and still save on the power drain when nothing is happening. There are other postings that describe problems that can occur if the machine does not "wake up". Search "wake up" to see if your problem is similar to that of others.

Its probably just that the patch from the '1.0.16 survival guide' thread has not been applied.

When I launch GbPvr tv guide and select a show to record, it changes the color of the tv show to "red" showing that it is ready to be recorded. When I check to see if the show has been recorded at a later time after the recording is suppose to happen, it does not display the show that I had selected to record. It does not show nothing at all? It only shows the shows that were perviously recorded while my computer was running or turned on. I was able to record shows before the new update/patchwhile i was away or if my computer was shut off, but now this is impossible. GbPvr does not display any errors, it just does not display my shows that I want to record if my computer is turned off.

I have applied the service patch as well when i first downloaded the new version of GbPvr ver. 1.0.16.

Where can I find the log files to send?

Thank you.

That GBPVRBackendCommon.dll you attached is not the patch I'm talking about. See post #6 in the 'v1.0.16 survival guide' thread. It is a replacement NativeUtilities.dll
