How do you tell gbpvr which tuner card to use?

I currently use a PVR250 which is fine. I want to add a DVB-S card to record satellite channels. Some of the channels are duplicated across the satellite and cable (which goes into the PVR250).

If a channel exists on both I want to record from the DVB-S, else the PVR250. How do I set that up?

Any ideas welcome

From what I have found out if you put the DVB-S at the top of the list of capture sources (in the config) it will use it as first choice to record from & if it's not available will then use your PVR250. Or if you don't want it to use your PVR250 at all for some channels then just un-tick those channels from that source under capture source in the config.

Yep, what he said.

For recordings it works down the capture source list looking for an available capture device. For live tv it uses the opposite logic, working up from the bottom of the capture source list.
