PVRX2 running at 100% CPU

I upgraded to .16 a few weeks ago when the Zap2it thing happened. Since then I have been using the PVRX2 without issue. Last night when watching live tv the audio and then the video started to get behind. I as trying to print at the time. But now as soon as I open the PVRX2.exe the cpu usage goes to 100%. I tried the GBPVR.exe for live tv and all is well. I even tried to repair the installation. I am not sure what to do any thought would be very helpful.

Where are the logs? and Yes I have a weather plugin loaded.

plugins is the first thing i would try removing
the logs are in the gbpvr folder

Where are the logs?

You can find them in the gbpvr/logs directory. In your case the following logs are of interest:

• PVRX2.exe.log
  
• PVRX2.exe-native.log
  

The log without a number in it is always from the latest run. The ones with a number are the previous one.

You could open them logs with an editor (e.g. Notepad) and search for all the words ERROR in it. Some of the errors might be normal, but others could hint at the source of your problem.

and Yes I have a weather plugin loaded.

Try starting PVRX2 after you have disabled all plugins using the config application. Uncheck the Plugins Enabled box in the Plugins tab and then restart. If the problem is gone by then, the Weather plugin is likely the cause.
