Is it possible to run GBPVR together with MCE? When I setup MCE for just one tuner, it seems to block all tuners in GBPVR.

isn't there a service that mce runs? if so, you probably need to stop it, so that the gbpvr recording service can attach itself to the tuners...

I'm running PVRX2 on MCE2005 for playback only, and it works well. I've never setup a tuner for both, but I suspect it tries to "take over" and messes up something in GBPVR for tuner settings. Maybe a registry setting?...

Whether you want to turn it off or not if you're actually using MCE in some fashion, I don't know, but, yeah, it's something like Start, Control Panel, Administrative, Services, then scroll down to the two MCE services in there, Properties, then disable them.

Thanks. I was wondering if it was possible to use both recording services at the same time. This way I could use my FloppyDtv and CAM to record DVB-C and use GBPVR for the analog stuff. I'm currently using mediaportal for DVB-C, but wanted to try something new and I just installed Vista.
