No video reception but you can hear the audio

Hello all,

I would really appreciate your help regarding my issue. I currently installed the GB-PVR and I'm using Yapi2XML as EPG. I was able to configure both but having problem with video. I can hear the audio in the background but there's no video signal. Did I miss a step when I was configuring both applications? I'm so sorry but I am new with PVR. All your help will be gladly appreciated!

Have you got an MPEG2 decoder installed? I'm guessing not.

I'm not sure... where can I get one? I have Intervideo DVD software would that work?

Usually you'll only have the 'system default' option listed in the config app if you dont have one installed.

You can get one from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

Read the instructions on that page to install it.

Yes, should do.

Yes. If you dont have an MPEG2 decoder, then installing one should fix it.

Sub I installed my Cyberlink PowerDVD and I choose that on the config but still nothing change. I also noticed that there's no TV listings showing. I could hear the audio but still no video signal. What should I do?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
