auto OSD position

Hi Sub,

The OSD position is made for a 4:3 screen size. While viewing a 16:9 recording, the OSD disappears outside the screen (cause the TV adjust the screen to 16:9; of course, I can change this, but I don't want to). I already changed the skin.xml to lower the timeline, but it doesn't look nice on a 4:3 broadcast.
I'm wondering if it is possible to detect the screen size of the recording and autoadjust the OSD display to it?

I'm not sure what you mean. The OSD is designed for both 16:9 and 4:3, and works fine on my 16:9 screen.

Is your TV set to stretch all 4:3 content to fill your widescreen, cutting of the left and right of the picture (including OSD) when it does this stretch? If so, you could probably update the following in config.xml:

<AspectRatioMode name="PillarBox" ratio="0,0,1,1" />
