Hi Sub

I've just experienced the same problem posted in this thread:
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=30627

I was deleting something from the video library and when there were no files left the [..] was selected and I pressed OK on the remote again with the intention of deleting the now empty folder. Of course the [..] is the parent folder but I was probably on "automatic pilot" and pressed okay when the following screen came up:

I immediately realised that wasn't right but it was too late! I tried restarting PVRX2 with no luck then checked the file system and found it had tried to delete the "program files\devnz" folder but obviously failed when it got access denied halfway through. This is what's left in my GBPVR folder:

I restored from a backup and tried the same thing again to be sure and the same thing happened. However with the original PVRX2.exe from the 1.0.16 install it doesn't happen (it's clever enough to ignore you when you select the delete button). I don't think I've applied many (if any) of the patches in the survival thread but I did install the patch from this post a few days ago and with that PVRX2.exe it allows this to happen:

You may want to check your latest build for this bug before releasing the next version otherwise we could have a lot of happy PVR systems self-destructing! Smile

Cheers
Tony

P.S. Still think this is the best PVR software around!

Ah, right you are. I've fixed this for the next release.
