I am having a problem on the clent only showing the wrong length of recorded shows during playback. This only affects the client the server is reporting the correct the length. This causes comskip to be off on the client only but works fine on the server.

In the logs I watched Bionic Women on the server abd it show a length of 59:57 and the commercials are marked in the correct location. When playback on the client the same show has a length of1:06:39 and the commercial skips are off. I have check several shows and the problem is the same. 1 hour shows are approx. 1hour 06 mins and 30 min shows are 33 mins long.

Me againBig Grin

I set the framerate in the config.xml to 29,97 but that did't seem to fix the problem although it did show correct in the logs this time. The tv program still shows to be 1 hour 6 mins. Guess I will need to wait for some other suggestions.

Sorry I'm not sure what the cause of this would be. I'd try here, but unfortunately my client machine is down for maintenance at the moment.

No problem and if I can not get it fixed I will bump this in a week or so when you may be in a better position to help.

I am seeing this too, my quick fix was to switch to "File Sharing" instead of "File Streaming" in the client config app. This made commercial skipping work perfectly, but I have never been able to watch Live TV or Currently Recording shows in File Sharing mode, so I end up switching back and forth...
Hope this helps

Yes file sharing works but then I can not watch live tv as you said. I do not think the wife would approve of switching back and forth.

You know it is funny how cranky she gets when her TV doesn't work.Big Grin

I upgraded to GBPVR 1.1.15 and still have the same problem as expected. Sub, I know you haven't had time and still may not due to the new release but I tought I would post some new logs for 1.1.15 and some screenshots to help show what I am seeing. I let the show play through the first commercial skip on both the server and the client and attached the logs.If you need any addtional info let me know.
