Highly unlikely unless someone hacks it. It requires the SageTV software. Wish I had the extra cash. It would be fun to try but I suspect I would be wasting the money.

But since I don't use an MVP, I don't usually browse that forum and this is the first thread on this device that I've seen. Wink

I wasn't complaining, just trying to keep everything together for those that search.

If you get some extra cash and feel like hacking come and join me to work on this device

Now THAT looks more promising. I will definitely plan on getting one of those. I'll ave to recover from the holiday spending first though. I noticed that someone on the forums wanted to add support for the HDHomeRun as well.

Have you tried embedding a recording in a webpage to see if it would play by any chance? I ask because I got the impression that there was HTML support from a cursory look at the forums.

The only embeddied HTML I tried was to connect the PCH to TSReader and stream mpeg-ts directly via http like I do with the mvp, but I couldn't get it too work, but to be honest I didn't try hard. I posted a couple of messages on this topic with no answer. Since HD recordings play fine from a share I didn't see the big advantage of doing it via http.

Ok, I was just curious. I'll try to figure out a way to convince my wife I need to get one "for the good of the HTPC community". Big Grin

whurlston, I've now had success in embedding an http video stream and loading livetv from TSReader. My problem before was using a playlist and not an index.html file.

Apparently however SageTV does have root telnet enabled so who knows if the PCH or the STX-HD100 will be the first with user apps.
