GBPVR and Sky in the UK....

Hi,

Now that I have my bedroom based Freeview GBPVR setup sorted, I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with setting up Sky with GBPVR.

What is the best way of doing things- direct feed from the SkyBox to an appropriate card? Is is possible to setup an MCE remote (with additional IR leads) to change the channel on the Skybox and how is the channel changed when recordings are scheduled?

Alternatively, does anyone use a Dragon Cam etc and if so have they managed to create a wife and kits friendly system.

My Sky box is remote from my system by about 80 feet. I use RF2 from the sky box into a PVR15 and the IR blaster from the PVR150 via a digieye back down to the Sky box for channel changing into RF2. Works fine and picture seems ok. No idea about how to do it with MCE though. GBPVR just sends a request to the external Hauppauge software to change channels and away it goes.
