I have recently loaded GBpvr. It seems to work great. I am getting two errors howerver. When I try and access Youtube from the menu I get the following error. "Failed to contact Youtube try again later". I can access Youtube from IE so there doesn't seem to be anything from blocking me from it. The second error I'm getting is when I try and pause live TV. I get the following error. "object reference not set to an instance of an object". I'm thinking I missed something on setup with this error. Everything else seems to work great.

thanks for you help.

The youtube plugin got broken quite a while ago, when youtub changed the layout of their website. This is the main reason it wasnt implemented in the new PVRX2 user interface.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Here are two zip files. One when opening GBPVR and the other using PVRx2.
I get the error message on the GBPVR plus a microsoft error. With the PVRx2 the time shift function works but went exiting the app I get a microsoft error.
I will add that I'm runing GBPVR on the computer that I use for other things. So there may be an application on it that is causing the error. My long range goal would be to get another computer just for GBPVR.

thanks.

Unfortunately this is a long standing problem. You get this error if you exit the application before the TV Guide has finished loading in the background. The work around is to not exit so quickly Big Grin. Give it a minute...

From memory you could get an error like this (entering timeshift) on GBPVR.exe if you used the mouse button to click the on screen button. Try using the Ctrl-Q key instead.

Sorry I no longer maintain GBPVR.exe, so I wont be fixing this. Its another good reason to use PVRX2.exe instead.

That works great. And I like PVRX2 better that the older version anyway.
Thanks again for you help and the work you have done on GBPVR
