Older Plug-Ins/Remote

I have installed older plug-ins like the Sports Plug-In,Music Library and the MusicBox plug-in. They come up initially but they seem to suffer from a common problem where after a few remote button clicks once in the plug-in PVRX2 locks up and it takes a long time to get back to the main menu. If I navigate within the plugin with the keyboard the same problem doesn't seem to occur.

Anyone have any ideas/fixes?

you could have a play with the keymappings xml file

Not sure what you mean here, I am a newbie with plug-ins.
