Hi all,

have trawled the Forums but can't seem to find a solution

I had been running 1 x FireDTV device for my TV and all was OK. I then installed a Nova-S Plus yesterday and couldn't get beyond installation when Mapping Digital Channels as got the following error message (abridged)

Reason: Failed to locate configured BDA capture device.

After Forum searches I checked the BDA.ini with Graph edit and found all was OK. After more trawling I swapped device numbers in GBPVR Config for the 2 cards, FireDTV was originally set as Device Number 1 and I had set Nova-S to Device Number 2. I reset the Nova to Device 1 and changed FireDTV to Device 2. Nova-S instantly checks in and can tune. The problem is that then FireDTV now gets the same response I had before with the Nova when trying to map channels:

Reason: Failed to locate configured BDA capture device.

Sooooo Rolleyes

I know that both Devices are working on my system independantly but shouldn't they both work side by side?.......

All input welcome Big Grin

Cheers

They should be both setup as device#1. The device number only increases if you have multiple cards with the same driver names.

Hi Sub,

can't believe it was that easy Smile

I thought each card should have individual Device numbers. Both set to Device 1 and running smooth now.

Cheers
