I added a new disk drive to my PC and moved all the recorded programs to that drive. In CONFIG I changed the directories to the new drive but when I rebooted and run PVRX2, Recordings and XRecord don't see any of the old recordings. What do I have to do for them to see the existing recordings?

This is something that I have on my to do list. If you look in Config on the Plugins tab you'll see 'Export Recordings' and 'Import Recordings'. Clicking on export gives you an XML file in the gbpvr directory with the details of your recordings. I guessed that if you then go into the XML and do a search replace on the <filename> location then import, it would do what you're looking for.
I dont know what the effect on the DB would be by running this command if the recordings have already been moved.

I did what Haggis describes

I believe the records are deleted from the database when gbpvr can't find the file - certainly used to be like this... So it probably wont work for you if you have already moved the files...

There used to be a tool that would import from an mpeg file - here it is, I've never used it and I don't know if will work with the current version...

Thanks. MpegImport did just what I needed. You should make it known more prominently as well as the import/export capability of CONFIG.

I am running the current version of PVRX2.
