I'm sure the answer is painfully obvious, but I haven't been able to figure it out. When I try to delete my recorded programs, they don't delete. I'm assuming this is a security feature of Vista, but not sure. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using the latest version of GBPVR (PVRX2) and Vista Home Basic. Thanks!

Are you running gbpvr/pvrx2 under a account with administrator privileges?
I think that is required.

Thanks for the response (and for not making fun of my stupidity for asking such an ignorant question). Only one account is set up on this computer and it is the administrator (I'm pretty sure that's not a good idea, but that's the way it's set up right now). Thanks for your guidance.

I had a similar problem a while ago. I had moved my entire recordings folder over from an XP machine and imported all my recording information into GBPVR. After doing this, I was only able to delete recordings through my MVP. If I tried to delete them through the PVRX2, they would not be deleted. The issue turned out to be a permissions issue on the folder. To resolve it, I had to give myself permission to delete files on that top level folder that I had moved from the XP box. I think the MVP worked because it was being handled by a service that has admin permissions.
