remote access to gui

I want to access and schedule recordings on my GBPVR server remotely either on my LAN or over the internet. How can I do this? I know I can access the GUI when I am on the GBPVR server.
http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx Please advise.

Yes you can - when you try from another machine just replace the "localhost" part of the URL with the IP address or hostname of the server.

all i get is unable to connect but i can access that server via windows network.
any suggestions?

Your firewall software on that server is probably stopping it from working.

i opened up 7647 port in windows firewall and restarted gbpvr and cha ching!!!

You can set up to access from the Internet by using port forwarding on your router.
