Hi. I've been playing with GBPVR for a few days now, but there's one huge issue I can't seem to solve. The TV Guide seems to display the channels in a random order. I tried both with the Schedules Direct EPG and the XMLTV one, but no go.

Basically, my XMLTV file is correct. All the channels have the proper display name and number assigned to them. The EPG programme info is also correct. Let's say I choose CFJP (channel 5), it indeed switches to the right channel. My problem is that my TV Guide looks like this:

5 CFJP
8 CIVM
2 CABSYS
11 CFCF
15 TV5

The display order seems completely random. I even checked if maybe they were ordered by their XML channel ID (like I10089.labs.zap2it.com) but no, not even that. WTH is going on there? I just wasted time making a perl script to manually re-order and re-id every channel in the XML file, but even using creative names & id it seems to give completely random results. What am I missing here? The channel name & position always match, I just can't figure how to tell the stupid TV Guide to display them by channel order.

You can change the order in gbpvr-config-channels.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

I think they are initially displayed in order they were created in.
You can change the order they are displayed in by tweaking the numbers in the "channels" tab of the config utility.

They're displayed in the of the channel numbers specified in the channels tab.

If your EPG source provided channel numbers, then this order is usually correct. It can get the way you describe when users try switching EPG sources, because often they'll have channel names spelt slightly differently so the app thinks its a different channel, and given the original channel number is already in use, it adds the channel and gives it a newly allocated number at the top of the range).

(so check your channels tab in the config app)

How can I possibly have overlooked that tab? Thanks a lot for the help.
