Hi there,

Please help me. I am running the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-3000 TV Card in my machine, and I have everything working.

I am however experiencing some strange problems with the video. As i have digital (freeview) antenna plugged in I have configured it as DVB-T.

The Audio is perfect, the overlay of the TV channel information comes up perfectly, but only some channels (valid freeview channels) actually display the video - the ones that do are very good quality, and the ones that don't, don't display intermittently - so sometimes they work, other times not.

Have tried basic settings changes - can you offer any advice? will the logs offer the key?

Many Thanks

BS

Have you tried other combinations of audio/video decoder?

Yes I tried all combinations, and scanning the log file, there is no error as such, so I was wondering if it could be down to just memory or graphics acceleration?

No probably not.

Reprodce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll see if I can see anything.

None of those old codecs have any relevence to GB-PVR. They lare egacy Microsoft codecs used in AVI files 10 years ago.

GB-PVR records MPEG2 video files, so only MPEG video/audio decoders are used. Windows doesnt include any MPEG video/audio decoders, so you need to install them.

What are listed as the audio/video decoder options on the 'Playback' tab of GB-PVR's config app?
