I currently have v1.1.5 installed and I tried to run PVRx2.exe. However, when I run it my computer freezes and I have to go to the task manager to end PVRx2.exe. I have attached my PVRx2.exe logs to assist in diagnosing the problem.

Thanks,
David

What video card do you have, and what resolution are you running your desktop at?

I'm not really sure what to suggest.

Are you in a single or dual monitor setup?

I am in single monitor mode. However, when I run PVRx2 it looks like it opens off the screen to what would be a second monitor. I will try to mess with my display properties to see if it helps anything.

Are you maybe running some virtual desktop software? It seems to think your desktop resolution is 7372 x 3686, which ultimately leads to the problem.

I checked the display properties in the Nvidia control panel and in the default windows display properties control panel and both are set to 1024X768. Where else should I look.

I have a 42" plasma tv connected to my DVR via VGA. Do you think that this could be causing the problem? The only reason I say this is because when I went into the Nvidia Control Panel it knew that I had a Samsung TV connected and it would only allow me to select 3 different resolutions:
800 X 600
960 X 600
1024 X 768

Thanks for the help

Sorry, I dont know. The Windows API for determining the desktop resolution is indicating your resolution is 7372 x 3686. I have no idea why it would do this, and I've seen no other reports of this happening.

I thought that was what that log entry meant but I wasn't sure. This one had me stumped.

Do you think that if I uninstall the driver and then reinstall it that I will be able to get this fixed?

I would hate to have to do a complete system reinstall to get this to work but if PVRx2 is the way of the future for GBPVR then I have to figure out how to get this to work.

Is there a way that I can find out where the Windows API is getting its information from?

Thanks,
David
