Everything I record only has audio and no video. The files that are recorded definitely only contain audio. I did have this working previously (and could watch the recordings with media player) but one of the packages that I've installed to try and fix jerky video has broken it, unfortunately I didn't try recording after each one.

Is there any way to trobuleshoot what the problem is? I've attached logs. (C5 - Quiz Call)

Cheers,
Tom

I think its a problem with trying to use the Intervideo Mux. Dont use this mux. Its crappy, and only a few select versions actually work (and not the version you have).

If you're on XP SP1 or higher, try the Microsoft DVR-MS Mux.

Sorry sub, how exactly do I do that? I loaded up DSFM and disabled the intervideo demux and restarted the service but the problem is still there.

I'm running Win2k3 R2, I can't see anything that looks like DVR-MS, perhaps I made the wrong choice for OS, would XP/Vista be better? I thought a server os might need rebooting less often....

If your OS doesnt have the DVR-MS mux (I dont think so looking at the logs), then you'll probably need to install either the ATI or Cyberlink mux filter. You can find links here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25630

After that you should be able to select the mux on the Misc2 tab of the config app.
