I am using a dedicated HTPC with all my media (movies, music, recordings, downloads) and tv/sat tuner cards. We also have a Wii and Xbox360 (in the kids rooms) which I would like to use as clients for the HTPC.

I am wondering:
  • Is it possible?
  • If possible, what software and/or plug-ins?
  • Anyone currently running Wii or Xbox360 as a client?

I did some searching in the forums but I wasn't sure how current the info I found was nor if it was completely applicable...

I am looking for advice, experiences, and/or any suggestions... Smile

PS: Sorry if I posted to the wrong subforum (I wasn't sure where the topic fit best) :o

You may want to look into TVersity. I have tried this with the PS3, but don't use it because I really have no need to stream media to my PS3 sitting by my HTPC.

I don't know if the Wii works with software like this. I imagine a search on the web under "Streaming media to wii" should get you sorted with that.

Interesting... on the TVersity site they instructions and video of the Wii accessing TVersity. I don't really have a need for it, but I like that it's an option. Smile
