Southern Oregon, What are my options?

I am looking to move to southern Oregon within the next year or so. At this point we are considering the Medford/Ashland area.

Anybody using GBPVR in that area? What are my options for Hi-speed internet and cable?

Charter serves Medford but their coverage of Ashland seems spotty. If you know the exact address, plug it into http://www.charter.com and see if they offer anything at that address.

Possibly too bad for you if you have to go Charter! They have almost zero clear QAM here in Wenatchee (CSPAN2, a shopping channel and the music channels are clear), and only 2 locals in HD - ABC and NBC, both Spokane. I heard they had a corporate p**ing contest with CBS. Don't know the problem with Fox or PBS. On analog cable, we get both Spokane and Seattle locals. On analog, the Spokane PBS is a squished format (16:9 compressed horizontally to 4:3) that requires a format adjustment on GBPVR or the TV to remove distortion. (Spokane went digital in February.) Also, the channels frequently have digital break-up (green pixelation). The only good thing is nothing is encrypted on the firewire port of the Moto HD STB.
