Hauppauge IR Blaster

I'm fumbling through setting up the IR Blaster on my 1600. It works, but it is dropping the first number on the channel changes. The box is a Motorola 6200. If I press 867, I get 67. I assume there is a delay in the time it takes for the box to wake and then respond, but I don't see a setting to wake the box prior to entering numbers. The 6200 is a supported box. Is this a question for Hauppauge?

My Hauppauge remote still doesn't work but my keyboard and my Harmony remote work fine in case anybody else has the same issue at some point.

yes this is a question for hauppauge... but if you want a workaround, you could make yourself a batch file which calls the hauppauge blaster (haupblast) once to wake the box up, and once to set the channel
