Various Errors in Logs - any critical ones?

Hi sub,

No biggie as most stuff seems to work (w.e.o stuff I have reported elsewhere) but there do seem to be a few errors in the logs. The one that concerns me most is the one about the Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Encoder pins, does this means one of my drivers or cards has a problem? If none of the others are an issue, no problem, just say "not an issue".

I'm not sure if some of these relate to the Xrecord plugin which I use daily, I'll post in the plugins forum for those.

Note that SOME I have sorted (in Excel) and extracted the errors to filter these out.

You dont think you need to worry about any of these. (except possibly the Archive and Convert skin error messages? I dunno about these)

Most of these of skin errors are really just messages indicating some optional skin feature wasnt used in that skin. For example, looks for a task image and doesnt find it, error goes in the logs, and the app doesnt try to do anything with the non-existant image.


The "Connection attempt failed" error message I'll probably hide in future releases so that it doesnt scare people. Thats a normal part or the way works when trying to hook up directshow components. I only added the message to try to track down one specific user's problem.
