Just a quick question..
Which streams (codec wise) are the default SKY.FM and DI.FM net radio stations being used?
Is it possible alter the URL for these stations? Or would I have to add extra stations into the Net radio folder?

Thanks.

Its not entirely clear what you're trying to ask. Are these stations shown in the Net Radio screen? If so then they are MP3 shoutcast streams.

yeah, sorry, should have clearer I guess. Yes, that is what I wanted to know. My thanks.

* sherman prefers the aacPlus streams, which is why I asked..

The built in net radio screens are really just designed to work with the Shoutcast MP3 streams. If you do forum search you'll find some info about saving asx files into the favourites directory, but this isnt widely tested. This would get you Windows Media stations, and possibly other types of directshow is able to render them automatically.

Fair enough. the two stations I was talking about do aacPlus shoutcast streams also, which is why I was wondering if it were possible to alter/remove the current ones, so that I don't have duplicate entries for the likes of Mostly Classical (from SKY.FM), without knowing which is MP3 and which is aacPlus etc.

[Edit: Maybe I should add an aacPlus stream first, to see what happens...]

{Second Edit: Maybe I'll just shut up now... seems it recognizes the stream, and connects to it, but no sound. /me investigates further]
