Hi all, [EDIT: will post logs when i can change the log level and renderer, i.e. not while I'm recording something]
Recorded TV playback is currently giving me a black screen. Setup is Win7 32-bit, a GeForce 220 GT card, Core2Duo 3GHz CPU, and GBPVR 1.4.7. Freeview|HD arrives via a Hauppauge 2200 card.
I had planned to use the EVR renderer and the MS DTV-DVD codec, as I thought this would provide the best picture quality and hardware-accelerated decoding. When I use this combination to play back a recording, I get a black screen. Stopping playback brings back the UI.
The VMR9 Fullscreen-Exclusive renderer and MS codec works, but the CPU usage is around 60%. The EVR renderer and Cyberlink PowerDVD8 codec works fine about 10% CPU.
Am I doing something dumb here (most likely), do the MS codec and EVR renderer simply not work together, or is this a genuine problem?
Cheers
Buzzy
