I am pretty sure you want GENESIS and not //GENESIS in telnet.htm. The guide says to get the name from the Media Source screen.

I figured it out right after I posted - sorry about the binaries.

Now -I'm getting a blank screen whenever I press the stop button during playback. I tried the "any key" but I get nothing - I have to unplug & power up again.

BTW - How do you remove stuff you've uploaded? The upload dialog box says I have plenty of room left, but if stuff isn't needed anymore, I'd like to clean it up.

You are going to want this patch. I will add it to the survival guide.

Note the "Any key" doesn't actually work, many of them aren't active with GB-PVR. There's are thread on the keys that are valid.

Thanks - the patch fixed it - I did have a little problem with a couple recordings, but I figured out how to turn comskip off in config.xml & that took care of it.

Thanks for your work on this (sub to) - I told myself I wouldn't, but I couldn't wait while everyone else was having fun, so I had to pop for a PCH on ebay...

So far GB-PVR looks pretty good - it's far more advanced than I expected at this point.

Yep, its coming along very nicely. Some more small improvements just around the corner too.
